Katy Börner is Professor of Information Science in the School of Library and Information Science at Indiana University. Katy Börner who says that science maps help to navigate, understand, and communicate the dynamic and changing structure of science and technology, describes succesfull mapping techniques in this book, Atlas of Science. The book includes 30 full page maps. At the  second part of the book called “History of Science Maps”, a time-line of science mapping studies is given based on 1930-1960, 1960- 1982, 1982-1998, 1998-2000, 2000-2001, 2002-2003, 2004-2005, 2006-2007 time periods. The book that consists of 5 parts, the other twointerestingheadings are “Toward The Science of Science” and “The Future of Science Maps”.
