Information behavior: an evolutionary instinct

The main purpose of this book is to develop a theoretical framework for the investigation of human information behavior within a multidisciplinary approach. Information behavior is not only instinctive with its social/cultural and cognitive dimensions, but is also a type of intelligence and a universal and biologically primary skill belonging to all of the people. It is thought that further researches are needed in order to clarify the process of information behavior which is such a complex process that cannot be fully understood only by contemporary and/or limited dimensions.
